Do You Have A Hard Beard? Here Is How To Make It Softer
Have you ever felt your beard harder than usual? The stiff hair, difficult to align?
It is common for beard hair to be thicker and more frizzy. This is a natural characteristic of them.
However, you can take some care so that the hair is softer and easier to align, preventing it from getting stiff.
You feel that the beard is stiffer when it starts to scratch, it becomes difficult to comb it, you comb it and it remains the same.
This is linked to a classic problem that everyone who grows a beard has: lack of hydration and dryness.
If your beard is already at this point, here are some tips that can help:
Enjoy Every Minute Of Your Bath
Usually, we wash our beard, rinse, apply a conditioner, rinse again and continue with the shower.
Do the following: the start is the same, start normally with Burnt Whiskey beard wash. If you can take a cold shower, so much the better.
The hotter the water, the more it removes the skin’s natural oils and dries out the hair.
I’ve been taking a cold shower for a year now. For those who are not used to it, at first it is a pain, but man, insist.
A cold shower improves blood circulation, increases the production of endorphins, speeds up metabolism, strengthens the immune system, saves you light or gas, and even does a darn good for the appearance of your hair and beard. It only has benefits.
After washing with beard wash, apply conditioner and add a few drops of shaving oil to it.
Take your shower normally and leave it to rinse your beard only at the very end.
This time of the conditioner and the oil in contact with the beard makes all the difference. The conditioner has an opposite charge to the shampoo and seals the hair scales. This alone will make you realize a difference.
Double Hydration
Out of the bath, dry. If you use a hairdryer to dry your beard, cold wind! We’re trying to get away from the heat here as much as possible, remember that.
And here comes hydration in two steps: first with the Beard Balm. Rub it really well, first from the bottom to the top, then from the top to the bottom. Spread the balm well.
As a hard beard tends to become more tangled, use a fork comb, which has larger and more spaced teeth to untangle.
Just moisturized with Balm, use Shaving Oil again. A few drops on the palm of your hand, rub, and apply to the hair. Again, the comb is a good way to distribute the oil well over the entire length of the hair, from the roots to the ends.
With that, you just hydrate your beard well with the Balm and protected this hydration with the Oil that creates a layer around the strands.
Drink Water: A Lot Of Water
One of the main causes of dryness is the body’s lack of hydration. So my friend, drink lots of water.
I usually keep a little bottle on my side always. If not, I end up forgetting to drink water and only notice when I’m very thirsty.
Don’t let it get to that point. Having a balanced diet and being well hydrated is more than halfway there to a healthy-looking beard.
